Menlo Velo Bicycles

Brand identity logo design and illustration for Menlo Velo Bicycles, an independent bicycle shop formerly located in Menlo Park, CA (Closed October 2022).

Illustration based on photographs I made of track racing at Hellyer Velodrome in San Jose.

On the overall design, the client specifically requested the medallion shape and World Champion rainbow cycling stripes and subsequently made a duplicate version of this original design, replacing the illustration with a cyclocross silhouette image, for cycling jerseys.
